MOSCOW, PETER D.
born April 10, 1945 in Dublin, Ireland, passed away March 25, 2011 in Louisville.
He was a graduate of Trinity College Dublin, with degrees in philosophy, mathematical logic and ethics, as well as a moderatorship in the Philosophy of Science.
He held a doctorate in hynotherapy. He was a Traditional Nemenhah Medicine Man and practiced in Louisville and abroad for over 30 years. He was a founding member and director for the Society for Psychical and Spiritual Studies, Dublin. He trained with Roy Ogden, DO, OBE in all phases of holistic health, and was a licensciate of the DeLaWarr Society of Radionics. He opened Holistic Philosophy Consultants, Ltd. in 1980 in Louisville where he worked tirelessly to provide help for all in need. He was president of the USPA for many years, an organization devoted to exploring the links between science and spirituality. He was widely published, his work appeared in peer-reviewed journals. He was instrumental in bringing revolutionary and life-changing alternative therapies to the Ohio Valley and beyond. His exploratory work gave relief to countless thousands.
He is survived by his loving wife Irene, his children Jonathon (Karla), Benjamin, Flannery (Michelle), Gillian, Alexis, Erik Mosvold (Kelly); greatly beloved grandson Archer, his brothers John Prescott of Wales, Martin Prescott (Sylvette) of Haifa, Israel, close friends, Mark Pfeffer and Todd Dreiling; as well as numerous loving and caring friends.
A memorial service in his honor will be held Wednesday March 30 at 7 p.m. at the Tibetan Buddhist Institute, 411 N. Hubbards Lane, Louisville KY 40218.
