Phyllis Hawse

Phyllis Hawse, 82, of Louisville, passed away Wed-nesday, October 1, 2003, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was a former real estate agent and a member of Valley Christian Church. She was the widow of LaVerne Hawse. Survivors include two sons, Lionel Hawse and his wife, Ellie, of Lexington and Daun Hawse of St. Louis, MO; a daughter, Nancy Smith and her husband, Roger, of Louisville; four grandchildren, Alan Hawse, Stephanie Aubuchon, David Hawse and Melanie Long; and four great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Main Street in Lexington, where visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday. A committal service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Louisville Memorial Gardens-West, with entombment to follow.
