Rachel Huhn Obituary

HUHN RACHEL CARMEL "CARMIE," 54, of Louisville passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Norton Suburban Hospital.

She was a licensed hairdresser and cosmetologist and also was employed by the Kentucky School for the Blind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Emma Horton Huhn; and a brother, Billy Huhn.

She is survived by her two sons, Matthew W. Clark and Nathaniel A. Clark; a brother, Dan Cummins; her aunts, Rachel Horton Wheeler and Erma Horton; and her former husband, Gregory Clark.

A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday, at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Rd.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kentucky School for the Blind, or Crescent Hill Baptist Church.

I was sorry to hear of Carmie's passing. My mom was a friend of Erma, Emmy and Rachel. Carm and I used to play together as kids when we would visit Rachel's in the summer. Those were good times.
