Robert Hawkins Obituary

HAWKINS, ROBERT G., 73, of Louisville, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at Norton Hospital. He was a graduate of the University of Louisville and a retired engineering technician from General Electric, after 30 years of service. He was also a retired Naval Reservist with over 20 years of service and a Navy veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his sons, Karl Hawkins (2005) and Brian Hawkins (1991). Survivors include his daughters, Almeta Noble, Myra Petty and Normie Anderson; a brother, Kenneth Hawkins; a daughters- in-law, Lynn Hawkins and Charlotte Hawkins; loving friend, Alma F. Hawkins; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville.
