Robert E. "Bob" Shippee

SEYMOUR, SHIPPEE, ROBERT E. "BOB," 84, of Seymour, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at his home. Mr. Shippee worked at Radio Station WTCO in Campbellsville, Kentucky from 1948 to 1949 and was manager of Radio Stations WJCD and WJCD-FM in Seymour, Indiana from 1950 to 1990. Survivors include his wife, Patsy Shippee; four children, Connie Roney, Bonnie Findley, Robert "Bud" Shippee, and Shirley Knecht, all of Seymour; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Seymour. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-7 p.m. Sunday at the Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour and from 9 a.m. until time for the service Monday at the church.
