Robert Wallace Obituary
He was a employee of Church Painting Co., and member of the Painter's Union, and Hillview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Desiree Brown and Brooke Wallace; his grandchildren, Gregory and Jayden; his brother, Gregory Thomas Wallace (Connie); sister, Bobbie Lynn Blevins (Jim); his aunt and uncle, Jean and James Richardson; and cousin, Cindi Smith.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in the Jones Chapel Cemetery, Mannsville, KY. Visitation will be from 2 8 p.m. Monday.

today as i again, cry I just cant believe your gone, i ride by jean and jims just looking for your truck and know this is a dream to yet wake-up too. I read the beauitful entries from Lisa and desiree and know your deep in their hearts as well, but as much as it hurts to know your gone I know one day we'll all be together again...i miss you rob wallace and i really miss hearing your voice...but in honesty and out of selfishness, i wish i had you back....but, i know if tomorrow never comes just know i love you and desiree,darren and lisa that I only met a few times...i love you guys as well..life is full of misunstandings and whys??/ but, GOD knows best and thou we may never truly know his plan,,we must believe it was for a reason....

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Rob..I didnt get to say goodbye..but to me, its not Goodbye.I know your looking down & we will see you again when it's eternity time.
Desiree n Darren are so missing you, Desiree didnt know how to tell Greggy but she did. He knows you are up there with Brittany in heaven.

I MEET ROB ABOUt five years ago at his house in vinegrove,ky.."I thought what a wild man"and after that seen he a few TIMES but, never made much of it. well about A year afterwards I was out and "there HE was-Robert, Robert wallce,we started talking and "boom" the next thing i knew, i was calling him and he was calling me or stopping by my house. Rob talked ALL the time, I mean all the time about these two girls, one was older and the other was younger and lived with her mom.HIS DASH N HIS TRUCK DISPLAYED THESE TWO BEAUITIFUL GIRLS, I ASK WHO THEY AND HE SAID "MY DAUGHTERS" I TOLD HIM THEY MUST LOOK LIKE MOM' CAUSE THEY WERE TO CUTE TO BE HIS KIDS, WE LAUGHED...ONEDAY AT MY HOUSE, I WAS HELPING HIM WASh his truck, HE HALLERED DONT TOUCH MY PICTURES...I SAID OK..OK..HE SAID CLOSE YOUR EYE'S, SO I DID THEN AS I OPENED MY EYES,THERE HE WAS WITH A WATER HOSE POINTING AT ME , THE NEXT THING I WAS WET, NOT A LITTLE WET BUT DRENCHED,I PICKED UP THE SOAP BUCKET AND YES ROB WALLCE, BACK AT YOU..WE LAUGHED UNTIL WE CRYED, WE WERE GOING TO MOVE IN TOGETHER, GET A HOUSE GEE HOW TIME AND PEOPLE CHANGE?!..WE HAD SOME MEMORIES THAT WELL LIVE ON FOREVER. LAST YEAR 2009, WE WENT TO THE STATE FAIR.BEFORE THAT ROB AND I WENT TO FLORDIA TOOK THE GIRLS, STARTED OUT WOUNDERFUL..HE ASK ME TO MARRY HIM ON THE BEACH AND MY ENGAGMENT RING WAS THE TOP OFF A BEER CAN HAHAHAHAHHA..LOL, NOW THAT WAS JUST ROB, NEVER KNEW WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO OR SAY."KICK ROCKS" BECAME A JOKE BETWEEN ME,ROB,DESIREE AND DARREN..HOW NANY TIMES DID WE LAUGH TO THAT....TO MANY....THE BOAT LAST NOV 2009, WE SHARED A ROOM AND IT WAS FUN..EVEN THOUGH IT COST ME FOR OPENING THAT STUPID REFRIG..LOL..HAHA HECK WE HAD LITTLE JAYDEN WITH US...SNORING AWAY OR WAS THAT ROB?, MAYBE DESIREE, GEE ONE ONE CLAIMED THAT ONE HAAAA...THE GO-CART RIDIGING, ALL THE FRIENDS I MEET AND HIS WOUNDERFUL FAMILY...THE LAST TIME I SEEN ROB THE WEEK OF HIS DEATH AND IN FACT THE DAY HE BECAME ILL WE WERE IT GO OUT THAT MORNING, I TALKED TO HIM AT 7:30,10:30 AND 2PM, HE WAS UPSET WITH ME BECAUSE I FELL BACK ASLEEP,AND HE CALLED 6XS AND I DIDNT AWNSER. GOSH I WISH WOULD HAVE BEEN WITH HIM EARLIER, MAYBE I COULD HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE. BUT MY HEART GOES OUT TO DARREN FOR HIS EFFORTS
AND OUTSTANDING ACT OF HEROISEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DESIREE,DARREN,GREGGY,JAYDEN AND BABY BOY, BROOKE,JIM AND JEAN, CINDI SMITH AND GREG,CONNIE AND HIS SISTER THAT I NEVER HAD THE PLEASURE TO MEET...... ROB AND I HAD A RELATIONSHIP LIKE NO OTHER. IM STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT MAYBE IT WAS TO HELP EACH OTHER, OR FIND OUT THAT NO-ONES PERFECT OR JUST LEARN TO LOVE OURSELF AND FORGIVE OTHERS. EITHER WAY I LOVE ROB AND IM SO HAPPY THAT ONE DAY I'LL GET TO SEE HIM AGAIN "IN THE ARMS OF AN ANGEL"..OH SEE U AT THE BEACH,DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Robert and I became friends in the 70's,he was somewhat wild.We both over came those days to become men,Robert the painter,Tracey the A/C tech. When we'd bump into each other,where ever it was,we'd talk and giggle (like 2 school girls)about the ol' days. Before we knew it a 1/2 hour had past,now we were both late but, it was always well worth it.I will miss those chats but Rob will live forever in my heart. A wise man wrote of Robert."If Robert liked you,then he probably loved you." I felt that love from him and will miss that too.

I'll never forget you, you always was there for us daughter(Desiree)and our 2 grandsons..you loved them so much, always making them laugh..you have a heart of Gold and Desiree N i (Lisa) will never let your memories fade away. You always made me laugh, things could look so bad to me and you always would find a way to say something to make me smile and laugh.I was 16 when our daughter was born..threw the yrs i told her about you. Both of you connected back together when she was 18 and you have always been there for her and loved her.I thank you so much for being a dad and papaw Our Angel Robert, you'll forever hold a special place in my heart..Desiree carrys part of your name and your 3rd grandson coming in June will have a part of your name to carry over..We all Love you!!!Lisa,Desiree,Darren&Greggy & Jayden..Lil Darren & Brian

Rob was a VERY special friend, we had everything in common, and I cant believe you wont ever be there to pop in and ck up on me-ha. No matter what I ever needed I could call on Rob.
He ALWAYS made us laugh, and ALWAYS was right...just listen to Rob-he was full of love and would never steer anyone wrong. I know Ill never find a true friend like Rob was to me. Desiree and Darren I will forever be here for you guys. Love mom, "his future wife" lol.
