Ronald Sander Obituary

SANDER, RONALD E., 61, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Baptist Hospital Northeast. Ronald was retired from Naval Ordnance with 27 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Levy P. Sander; son, Lee A. Sander (Mirsada); grandson, Brenton Sander; mother; Gladys Sander; sister, Lois Poth (Charles); brother, Gary Sander; nieces, Gladys Naeger (Gary), Susan Reed (Kim), nephews, Charles Poth (Connie), James Poth (Karen). Funeral service is 6 p.m. Monday, Arch L. Heady Hikes Point Chapel. Visitation from 2-6 p.m.on Monday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may go to the American Cancer Society.

Levy,
Ed and I are so sorry to learn of Ron's death. We were out of town. He fought a long battle and now he is at peace. Take care of yourself, for you gave him a lot of strength.

Jack, the girls, and I were very sad to hear about Mr. Sander. We are so very sorry. Please do not hesitate to let us know if we can be of any help. We are at Mom and Dad's quite often, next door to you.

Although we hadn't had much contact the last few years, I regarded Ron as one of my best friends. He had a big impact on my life. He will be sorely missed.
