Ruby Vogt Obituary
In addition to raising 11 children, she worked for Cooksey's Restaurant and spent many hours volunteering at St. Matthias Catholic Church and was also a member of St. George Parish.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Vogt; parents, Mary and Thomas Mattingly; brothers, Pat, Thomas and Steve Mattingly; sisters, Shirley, Maxine and Margaret.
Ruby is survived by her 11 children, sons, Charles Mencer, George Vogt (Patty), William L. Vogt, James Vogt (Mary Alice), Gary Vogt and Robert Vogt (Dana); daughters, Anna Harvey (Ron), Mary McBride, Donna Ware (Tony), Rebecca Hall and Diane Shahroudi (Dave); sisters, Lize Reed, Carolyn Wolfe, Nancy McIntosh, and Linda Risinger; brothers, Charles and Michael Mattingly; 30 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 1, 2012 at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Hwy (at Rockford Ln.) with visitation Thursday from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Friday, 9-10 a.m.

My Dear Dear Ruby,
Thank you for being in my life. Your patience and determination, even with the challenges these past few years, made it a pleasure to be around you. You were ALWAYS yourself! I'm so glad that we shared the memories together. You are in heaven now with Bill and those who went before you. Thanks for supporting me and being my sister Ruby.
