Ruth Duncan Obituary
Louisville - age 87, passed-away on Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was born on July 7, 1933 to her late parents, Joseph and Louvena Hardin. She was a member of Shively Christian Church, 15 year member with the Dorcas Circle, and a Sunday school teacher for over 20 years. She will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Duncan and sister, Nancy Maynard.
She is survived by her children, Karen McDaniel, Jerry Duncan, and Donna McGee (Eric); brother, Vernon Hardin; grandchildren, Cory Duncan, Jared Elswick, Olivia McDaniel, and Spencer Elswick (LeAndria); and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Riley Duncan.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, KY 40216. Burial will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 10 AM - 1 PM on Wednesday before the funeral.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Shively Christian Church, 1822 Kendall Lane, Shively, KY 40216.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your mother. Your mother looks like an angel in the picture provided for her obit. You and your family are in my prayers. Not sure if you remember us, (Marilyn & Carolyn) but we were at Essex nursing home with our mom Nancy Heil, who died in February.
