Sandra Finley Keene

Louisville - Sandra Finley Keene passed away after a short illness Friday, September 10, 2021. Sandi was born in Hopkinsville, KY on April 15, 1960 to the late Albert Roy Finley, Senior and Sarah Ann Joiner Finley.

She graduated from Christian County High School Class of 1978. She attended the University of Louisville School of Nuclear Medicine Technology where she earned her Bachelor of Health Science Degree with honors (1982) and worked in her field at the Veterans Administration Hospital of Louisville until 1989. She then obtained her Juris Doctorate (1992) from the University of Louisville and went on to serve her community for 29 years as an attorney with Tilford, Dobbins & Schmidt, PLLC.

Sandi was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and friend who shared her brilliant mind, kind heart and incredible passion with everyone. She enjoyed the theater, hiking with Michael, was a voracious reader, worker of crossword puzzles and enjoyed cooking and baking with her family.

She was a participant in the 1976 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as a twirler with the Christian County Marching Band. She served as Vice-President of Chi Omega Sorority Beta Gamma Chapter at the University of Louisville. She was active in the Woman's Club of Louisville and The Louisville Professional Woman's Golf League. She traveled across America including Alaska and Hawaii, and countries in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 36 years, Michael, her two daughters, Mary Catherine (Katie) of Conway, AR, and Haley J. Keene Motter (Sam), brother Albert Roy (Bert) Finley Jr. of Daytona Beach, FL, and her loving dog, Daisy.

Funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday September 16, 2021 at Pearson's 149 Breckenridge Lane with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 AM - 2 PM Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus Health of Louisville. Online condolences may be shared at www.pearsonfuneralhome.com.

At the request of Sandi's family, all guests are asked to respect their wishes for mask to be worn for the duration of the visit with the family.
