Sonia Davidson Obituary
She was a native of Louisville, born February 28, 1925. She was a retired bookkeeper from Bacon's, where she maintained lifelong friendships with many valued associates of Mercantile stores and a former member Keneseth Israel Congregation.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Azriel and Julia Borowick; her husband, Melvin G. Davidson; her daughter, Sharon Davidson; and a sister, Corrine Goodman.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Davidson (Amy) of Lexington, KY and Barry Davidson (Rochelle) of Bardstown, KY; her brothers, Alvin "Buddy" Borowick (Linda), Leo Borowick (Shirley) and Hershel Borowick; a sister, Florence Weinstein of Farmington, CT; her grandchildren, Brittany, Andrea, Aimie, Tess and Zachary; her great-grandchildren, Jaden and Parker; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Herman Meyer & Son, 1338 Ellison Ave., with burial to follow in Keneseth Israel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon.
Memorial gifts may go to donor's favorite charity.

I have so many fond memories of my next door neighbors growing up.Mr. Davidson gave me my first grass cutting job and Mrs.Davidson was always there with a smile if ever myself or my family ever needed one. Barry and Mike I am sorry for your loss.Even though I had not seen her in several years we always carry with us the special people we grew up with. God Bless
