Tomas Lanceta Obituary
83, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Baptist Health Louisville.
Tomas was born in Iloilo, Philippines to the late Leon and Salvacion Lanceta. He was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church; the National Rifle Association; and had worked in Medical Records at University Hospital.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Beatrice Lomigo; and Alice Labriallazo; and a brother, Leo Lanceta.
Survivors include his wife, Sofia Gangoso Lanceta; son, Rene Lanceta; daughters, Cynthia Dichoso (Cleo), Marisa Badgett (Clark), Marisol Young (Tim), Lilibeth Lanceta, and Lovella McKim (Paul); eight grandchildren; sisters, Norma Garrido (Rolando) and Elizabeth Lanceta; brothers, Alfonso Lanceta (Inday), Rudy Lanceta (Neritta) and Sally Lanceta (Otel); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 - 8 PM Monday, May 29, 2017 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.
