This is still surreal. Lifted from our sight, far too soon, my dear friend...
I can remember all the way back to when we met in junior high. So many good times and laughs and smiles, every day without fail.
I was so grateful for reconnecting a few years back via Facebook... watching you travel the world, seeing it through your memories and experiences, the amazing pictures.
Finally getting to see you a few times the last couple years. Treasured memories for me, now... just as every moment shared with all of the rest of us, here, in Japan, Korea, Germamy.. everywhere you went, you touched and bettered so many lives, so many people.
Thank you isn't the slightest fraction of enough to give you the appreciation for your friendship, through the years. But it is what I have, and what I can offer.
Oh, and you won the only game of Yahtzee we managed, head to head. Well played.
Keep an eye on this crazy, motley, tightly knit bunch you were such a huge part of.
While you're at it, say hi to Stacey, Tuyen, Steve, and everybody who was waiting on you when you got to the pinnacle.
We love you. We miss you. We will never forget you, Wendy.
Blessings and Eternal Joy,
Patrick Hebert

Though I only knew Wendy for the shortest time, I will remember her fondly forever. She was a treasure. The most beautiful laugh, wonderful personality, and incredible life. Her passing has left a hole in my heart. Sweetest dreams Wendy, I was blessed to know you.

Wendy welcomed me with open arms when I was transferred to Okinawa. Wendy and Kaitlyn took me out to dinner for my birthday so I wouldn't be alone. We need more people in the world like Wendy. Love You Wendy!
