Albert H. Wagner
of Lowell, Army Veteran; 66

LOWELL, MA -- Albert H. Wagner, 66, died peacefully, Tuesday, November 29th, at his home surrounded by the love of his family. He was the husband and best friend of Irene L. (McCarthy) Wagner. They were happily married for 42 years.

Albert was born in Biddeford, Maine on October 12, 1950, a son of the late Marie Rose and Raoul Wagner. He was educated in Lowell and served his country proudly in the US Army during the Vietnam War. For many years, he worked as a Merchandiser at Store 24, and after retirement went to work with the homeless Veterans at Harbor Homes in Nashua, NH.

Along with being a helpful and caring man, Albert was also known for his great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Above all, he enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by his family and friends. He was known affectionately as Pops to his grandchildren.

Along with his wife, Irene, Albert is survived and will be deeply missed by his three children, Brian Wagner and his wife, Holly of Hudson,NH, Timothy Wagner and his wife, Jennifer of Auburn, NH, and Kayla Wagner of Lowell; five grandchildren, Emily and Henry, Charlie and Sam and Isabella; his siblings, Roland Wagner and his wife, Irene of Westford, Robert Wagner and his wife, Marie of Lowell, Phillippe Wagner and his wife, Jeannette of Hudson, and Paul Wagner of Florida; his in-laws, Richard and Patricia McCarthy of Hudson, NH, as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Richard and Normand Wagner.

WAGNER -- Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on SUNDAY, December 4, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
