Antonio Fontanez Obituary

Antonio Fontanez of Lowell; 56 Lowell Antonio Fontanez, 56 years old, a resident of Lowell for many years, died Friday morning, November 28th, at his residence after a long battle with cancer. He was the husband of Antonia (Ferrer) Fontanez, who survives him. He was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, on June 16, 1952, a son of the late Ruperto and Maria Luisa (Perez) Fontanez, and was educated in Puerto Rico. He moved to the Lowell area 25 years ago, and had been employed as a Mechanic and Construction Worker in the Lowell area. Surviving him besides his wife are a three sons, Jose, Antonio and Javier Fontanez; four daughters, Madeline Ramos, Margarita Lopez, Vanessa Fontanez, and Veronica Fontanez; brothers and sisters, Angel Luis, Rafael, Anibal, Juan, Roberto, Carlos, Danilo, Elis, Lidia, Ady, Cachy, Aleja, Margarita and Luis Angel Fontanez; eleven grandchildren, Chrisitan, Anthonie, Omar, Payton, Madelaine, Kiana, Orly, Edriel, Analice, Rubilynn, and Marayha; also many nieces and nephews. FONTANEZFriends may call from 6 to 8pm on Thursday, December 4th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith St, (Rte. 38). His Funeral Mass to be offered Friday, December 5th, at ST.
