Armand J. Bibeault

Armand J. Bibeault of Chelmsford, formerly of Lowell; 80 CHELMSFORD Armand J. Bibeault of Chelmsford, formerly of Lowell died in Tewksbury, Monday, April 13, 2009 after an extended illness, aged 80 years old. He was the husband of the late Yvonne (Bowden) Bibeault. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Born in Armand J. Bibeault Lowell on May 15, 1928, the son of the late Albe G. and Bernadette (Desmarais) Bibeaul. Mr. Bibeault received his early education at Norte Dame De Lourdes Grammar School and attended Lowell Trade School. Mr. Bibeault had been employed at the Moher Plush and worked on a drilling team at Fletcher's Quarry prior to the Korean War. He served with the 836th Engineer Battalion and was awarded the Korean Service Medal, the United Nation Service Medal, the National Defense Medal, the Sigmund Rhee Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was honorably discharged in December 1952. He returned to Lowell and over the years he had been employed at various jobs but most especially as a cook in restaurants and clubs. Active in various clubs and organizations Mr. Bibeault was a charter member of the Robert Pelletier Post 247 American Legion of Tyngsboro, he was a life member and held the office of Chaplin of the Franco American War Veterans of Lowell Post #4. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his two sisters; Pauline Shapiro and Claudette Pattelena and her husband Frank all of Rochester, New Hampshire. BIBEAULT Mr. Armand J.
