Carole Wheeler Obituary
of Littleton; 78
LITTLETON -- Carole (Palmer) Wheeler, 78, of Littleton, died on January 30, 2014, at Emerson Hospital in Concord.
She was born in Fitchburg, MA on May 27, 1935, daughter of the late Charles and Genevieve (Blaney) Palmer. She grew up in Groton and Westford and was a graduate of Groton High School.
She lived in Littleton for many years where she worked as an assembler for LMI of Acton and Telequip of Littleton. Carole was a member of the Littleton Garden Club, and enjoyed arts and crafts and yard sales.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Wheeler of Milford, NH, and Brian Wheeler of Dover, NH; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Firestone of Tyngsboro, MA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Jennifer Bitner, Keith Wheeler, Derek Baxter, Jarrod Baxter, Anthony Wheeler, Jade Wheeler, Amylynn Wheeler, David Wheeler, and Patrick Wheeler; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Keith Wheeler, and her daughter, Cynthia Wheeler. Carole was also the sister of the late Alan Palmer and Constance Palmer.
WHEELER -- Visiting hours will be held at the Badger Funeral Home, 347 King St., Littleton, on Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 6-8 pm with a funeral service at 7 pm. Please see www.badgerfuneral.com

I became friendly with Carole when I was the receptionist at Apple Valley many years ago. She would come in everyday to visit her Mom and we became friends. We would meet ocassionally to go out to dinner but had not seen her in quite a few years but thought of her often and the fun we had.
I'm glad that i got to know her.

I knew Carole for many years as a participant in the monthly craft project that my Garden Therapy group from the Garden Club put on at Mill Pond Apartments. She was a delight to know and I will miss her.
