MILFORD -- Catherine Mary (Ruszczyk) McAndrews, a longtime Milford, NH resident, passed away on Saturday morning, April 11, 2015 peacefully with her family. She was 55 years old.

Catherine was born in Lowell on November 10, 1959, a daughter of the late Ernest and Katherine (Hand) Ruszczyk. She was a graduate of the Sacred Heart Grammar School and Lowell High School.

Prior to her illness, Catherine was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Lockheed Martin - Missiles and Firearms.

Catherine was a strong, hardworking, independent woman. She was crazy in love with her grandchildren the "Super Six", her family and her dog Louise. She enjoyed coffee, tea, sitting outside doing her sudoku puzzles and feeding her squirrels. She also enjoyed Nascar, the ocean, the mountains and family camping. She loved giving gingerbread cookies to her grandchildren. Her memory and special family traditions will live on through her daughters.

Catherine is survived by her two daughters and their families: Gloria Torres and her husband Walter of Nashua, NH and Katie Bruhmuller and her husband Mat of Fayetteville, NC; her grandchildren, the "Super Six" Jacob, Olivia, Jackson, Lillian, Noah, and Isla; her sisters, Annmarie Haynes and her husband James of Nashua, NH, and Paula Voglino and her husband Victor of Temple, NH; her brother, David Ruszczyk and his wife Nancy of Lowell; her aunts Regina Metivia, Barbara Ruszczyk and Bernie Graff; her sister-in-law and lifelong friend Donna St. Laurent of Merrimack, NH, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Catherine was the sister of the late Daniel Ruszczyk and Paul Ruszczyk.

McANDREWS -- In Nashua, NH, April 11, 2015, Catherine M. (Ruszczyk) McAndrews, 55, a longtime resident of Milford, NH.

A MEMORIAL FUNERAL MASS for Catherine will be celebrated on THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2015 at 11 AM at THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION CHURCH in NASHUA, (216 E. Dunstable Rd.) All are invited to attend.
