Chester W. "Chet" Button

1931 - 2022

Chester "Chet" W. Button, 91, of Boscawen, NH, died on May 20, 2022, at the Merrimack County Nursing home. He was born on January 10, 1931, in Everett, Mass, the son of the late Archibald an Ida (Wheeler) Button. He lived in Londonderry & Gilford, NH & Florida before residing in Boscawen, NH. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a self-employed residential builder for more than 40 years. He enjoyed boating, fishing, woodworking, Nascar, the Red Sox and Patriots. He is predeceased by his late wife, JoAnne (Smith) Button, of Boscawen, NH; his 2 sisters Liz Fosse and Evelyn Willis. He is survived by his children Brian Button, Deborah Cressy, Holly Button, Dane Button and Heidi Button Malo as well as their spouses Angela Button, Warren Cressy & John Malo. 2 stepsons David & Derek Floyd. He also leaves behind 2 sisters Shirley Anstey and Marilyn Weatherbee of NH. Chet will be missed by his 9 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 11:30 A.M. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery Chapel in Boscawen.
