Dolores Scott Obituary
Beloved wife, mother and grandmother
TEWKSBURY -- Dolores L. (Silva) Scott, age 81, a 50 year resident of Tewksbury, passed away at the Lowell General Hospital-Saints Campus on Thursday, February 12, 2015.
She was the beloved wife of Charles A. Scott, with whom she celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on September 11, 2014.
Born in Somerville on June 18, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Silva and the late Mary Louise (Rocha) Silva.
Dolores was raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Cashier at the Heartland and Market Basket Supermarkets both in Tewksbury.
Dolores enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, sewing, ceramic craft projects, traveling and spending summer days at the beach with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, David C. Scott and his wife Kerry (Flaherty)of Chelmsford, Karen S. Gray and her husband Peter of Windham, NH, and Brian M. Scott and his wife Karen (Finneral)of Nashua, NH; six grandchildren, Laura and Ellery Scott, Julia and Derek Gray, Adam and Ashley Scott.
