Donald Dalton Obituary

BELLINGHAM -- Donald J. Dalton, 69, a longtime resident of Bellingham, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, after a 3-year battle with mesothelioma, surrounded by his wife and children. He was the husband of Phyllis A. (Kmiec) Dalton, to whom he was married for 49 years.

He was born in Arlington, July 24, 1937, beloved son of the late Jenness and Therese A. (McInnis) Dalton.

Mr. Dalton enjoyed landscaping and gardening in his yard, as well as woodworking.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark G. and Margaret Dalton of Hudson; three daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene J. and Rick Sarno of Revere, Nancy A. and Bob Norton of Bellingham, and Linda E. and Mark Gonyea of Millbury; a brother, Frank E. Dalton, residing in New York;

a sister, Betty Edwards, residing in Florida; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Kelley, Krysta, Jennessa, Jaimee, Ian and Cody; and several nieces and nephews.
