Donald Rutina Obituary
Lowell
Donald D. (Donny) Rutina Sr., 74 of Nashua, NH, formerly a longtime resident of Lowell, MA passed away at home on Sunday August 29th, 2021 with his wife by his side.
Born January 14th, 1947 in Lowell, MA he was the son of the late Walter and Elizabeth Hudzik and the beloved husband of Nancy (Plaistek) Rutina for over 30 years. Donny attended school in Lowell, MA and was self employed as a carpenter for over 50 years. He cherished the time spent with his friends and family.
In addition to his wife Nancy, Donny is survived by his children - Donald Rutina Jr and his partner Paula Beaudoin of Lowell, MA; Michael Rutina and his wife Julie of Pittsfield, MA; Pamela Landry of Dracut, MA; Jamie Rutina and his wife Christine of Nashua, NH; Nicole Fernandes and her husband Allen of Pelham, NH; Brian Rutina of Dracut, MA; Tyler Rutina of Nashua, NH; along with eight grandchildren - Kirsten, Felipe, Dwight, Joey, Eric, Matthew, Evan, Ethan and Allison; two great grandchildren - Julian and Charlotte; siblings - Shelia Sturtevant of Lowell, MA; Thomas Hudzik and his wife Michelle of Tyngsboro, MA; Stanley Hudzik and his wife Pamela of Tyngsboro, MA; two sisters-in-law - Elaine Rutina of Lowell, MA and Bonnie Hudzik of Lowell, MA; and two brothers-in-law - William Plaistek and his partner Thea of Dracut, MA and Henry Plaistek of Littleton, MA. Donny also leaves behind close friends Chuck and Donna Beaulieu, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Donny was also the brother of the late Ronald Rutina and Bob (Bub) Hudzik.
A celebration of Donny's life will be held privately.

So sorry to hear of Donys passing. He was a fun dude to be around as I knew him in my younger days. Quite the pool player especially when he teamed up with his Bros Ronny Tommy Stan Bubby. RIP

Our sincere sympathy goes out to all of Donny's family. We will never forget the kindness Donny showed us when our mother died just before Thanksgiving in 1981 and Donny invited our family to his home to share Thanksgiving with his family. He was a very kind soul and he will be greatly missed by all.
