Dorothy Costa Obituary

Dorothy B. Costa formerly of Ayer and Saugus, MA; 76 BOSCAWEN, NH Mrs. Dorothy B. (Coller) Costa, 76 years, died on Friday, May 23rd, at the Pleasant View Nursing Home in Concord, NH. Born in Danvers and raised in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Elmer & Mildred (Mazzone) Coller. She traveled extensively from 1950-1969 with her former husband while he was in the service. She was a Red Cross volunteer, and a Eucharistic Minister of St. Michael's at the former Fort Devens. Mrs. Costa resided in Ayer, MA from 1969-2002, and had resided in NH since 2002. She was a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Costa leaves one son, Ed Costa and his wife Trudi of Amherst, NH; two daughters, Dorothy Ann Kingston of MO, and Stella Lareau and her husband, Michael of Boscawen, NH; five grandchildren, Adam Costa and his fiancée, Lauren Donnell, Mary Costa, Michael Kingston, Brian Kingston and Amy Kingston; two brothers, Ted Coller of Saugus, and Richard Veno of Lynn; two sisters, Judy Hannify of Southington, CT, and Henrietta "Cookie" Warren of Florida. COSTA A funeral will be held from the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Margaret's Church, 431 Lincoln Ave., Saugus at 10 a.m. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Internment Calvary Cemetery, Penacook, NH, Wednesday at approx. 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc. of Eastern Mass., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
