Edward Plugis Obituary
Life Long Billerica Resident
BILLERICA, MA -- Edward A. Plugis Jr., age 66, husband of the late Rhonda S. (Flynn) Plugis died unexpectedly Sunday at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
He was born in Cambridge, July 14, 1946, the son of the late Edward A. Plugis Sr. and Rita M. (Kenneally) Plugis and lived in Billerica all of his life.
Mr. Plugis served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was self-employed welder and fabricator.
He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Plugis of Sutton and James Plugis of Billerica; his brother, Robert Plugis of NJ and his grandchildren, Emily and Daniel Plugis.
PLUGIS -- Of Billerica, unexpectedly, Dec. 16, Edward A. Plugis Jr., Funeral Thursday from the SWEENEY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica at 9 a.m. A graveside service will be held at the Fox Hill Cemetery, 130 Andover Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, One Bullfinch Place, Boston, MA 02114. Funeral directors W.J. and Dean M. I was always impressed with Ed's abilities. He was a very talented person who inspired a lot of what I choose to do in my hobbies. He always managed to put a smile on your face no matter how dire the moment. He will be truly be missed. -Dave Banda

I always thought Ed was full of jokes...Loved hot dogs ice cream cookies so so much =). But his loyalty and heart without a spoken word shined bright to anyone that saw him with his SONS!!!
