Elsie Murray Obituary

SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. -- Elsie Rice Murray, 68, of Surfside Beach, S.C. and a former longtime Tewksbury resident who worked at Raytheon Co. for two decades, died yesterday, Feb. 26, at Waccamaw Community Hospital.

She was the wife for 45 years of the late Thomas Murray.

She was born in Boston, April 16, 1937, daughter of the late Alfred and Florence Brown DuBois.

She resided in Surfside Beach and formerly lived in Tewksbury for 30 years.

Before retiring, Mrs. Murray was employed for 20 years at Raytheon in Massachusetts.

She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by a son, Bruce Murray of Surfside Beach; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Robert Lockhart, Lynn and Dennis Laroche, all residing in New Hampshire; four grandchildren, Korey Cadigan, Jay Lockhart, Alexis Lockhart, and Chad Laroche; and two sisters, Leta May Haddock, residing in Massachusetts, Elizabeth Keenan, residing in California.
