Gertrude A. "Trudy" Moisan

Gertrude (Trudy) A. Moisan, 86, of Windham, NH, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Salemhaven Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lawrence, MA on March 4, 1936, the daughter of the late Timothy and Catherine (Kennedy) Madden.

Trudy spent her professional life as a Registered Nurse, working for numerous companies, including Digital Equipment Corporation. She had many joys in life, including spending time with her family, preparing and sharing many meals with her neighbors, and participating in activities at the Salem Senior Center. She was a communicant of St. Mark's Church in Londonderry, NH for many years.

In addition to her parents, Trudy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Carl Moisan; her sister, Margaret Palmer; and her brother, Edward Madden.

Trudy is survived by her three children: Karl (Susan) of North Grafton, MA, Timothy (Julie) of Anchorage, AK, and Andrew (Christine) of Sterling, MA. She is also survived by her six beautiful grandchildren: Alyssa (Louis) Johnson, William Moisan, Cassandra Moisan, Siobhan Moisan, Aidan Moisan, Benjamin Moisan, her great grand-child Hendrix Johnson, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.

Calling hours for Trudy will be held on Wednesday, June 1st from 4-7 pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home in Windham, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 2nd at 10:30 am at St. Mark's Church in Londonderry, NH. Interment will be at a later date.
