DRACUT -- Gloria L. (Isabelle) Lemire, 63, of Dracut, lost her brave and courageous battle with pancreatic, liver, and lung cancer on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, surrounded by love. She was the widow of the late Joseph L. Noel and the late Andre L. Lemire, and was the loving companion to John Gauthier.

A daughter of the late Louis G. and the late Yvette (Giroux) Isabelle, she was born January 31, 1950, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools, attending St. Joseph Grammar School, Edith Nourse Rogers School, and the Butler School.

Since 2003, Gloria has made her home in Dracut, and was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish. In earlier days, she worked in the Lowell Mills, and later worked with the Intercity Elder Care as a home health aid until her retirement.

An outgoing, friendly, and loving person, she fought this disease with strength and courage making her family most proud of her. When she wasn't spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed gardening, rock and roll music, and especially loved animals.

Her survivors include her daughters, Linda Rita Noel and life partner, Robert Paquette of Goffstown, NH, and Angela Ann Noel-Guertin and her husband, Ken, of Hudson, NH; her grandchildren, Jessica Noel Price of Lowell and Brianna Noel Greenhalgh of Hudson, NH; her sisters, Rita Proulx and her husband, Daniel, of Florida, and Gabrielle Lamper and her husband, Bruce, of Pembroke, NH; her brothers, Donald Isabelle and his wife, Nadine, of Manchester, NH, and Gerry Isabelle and his wife, Deborah, of Hampstead, NH; and many loving nieces, nephews, close friends, and partner in crime, her dog, Tasha.
