Dear Ellie and family,

It was always such a treat as kids to go to Richardsons for our hot fudge sundaes with animal crackers and umbrellas! Those were the good old days!

I continue to pray for all of you that you are comforted by the wonderful memories that you have of this beloved man.

Scalloping on the island won't be the same without him...

I am so sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of your grandfather. When we were just about 9 or 10 I can still remember spending the lazy days of our summers together and your grandfather always being at the farm just being him, sometimes just telling a fuuny joke or letting us make huge ice creams! I was very sad this day when I read that Buster had passed away. I go way back when I was just a little girl no older than 5-7 and I would run over to the Dairy Farm and get a couple of quarts of milk I remember all round it was such a safe place to growup in. Now Buster I bring my great grand child to get the Richardson ICE CREAM I REMEMBER YOU WELL, and at one time Mrs Richardson would come over to take care of my grandfather.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will never forget what a kind and funny soul Mr. Richardson was. I will never forget putting drops in his eyes. I will never forget how many times he would throw those gummy candies my way. I had a lot of great memories working for Richardson's Dairy and many of them involve Mr. Richardson. Once again, I send my sympathies to you during this difficult time.
