I remember meeting Helena while I taking some friends from Minnesota on a trip through Vermont. She and her husband had just purchased a new car and it just stopped working in the Sharon VT area. I had a cell phone and offered it to Helena. I was hesitant to leave until the tow truck came, so we started chatting and I told her I grew up in Tewksbury,,, that was the start of a great friendship. We have stayed in touch ever since. We have exchanged cards, letters, gifts and many happy memories. I will think of her smiling face often and know that she has found her new home with the Angels she so enjoyed. To Helena's family, you had the best monther one could ask for. I will miss her very much.

I remember the first time I met Helena, I was attending a Cambodian conference in Lowell, and she hopped in the car and drove down to meet me; while I could barely keep up with her as we went back to her apartment for a visit. Mary Ellen Davies Rock
