She was the wife of the late Kurt Haufe.
She was born in Berlin, Germany, Feb. 7, 1921, daughter of the late Martha Willnath.
Mrs. Haufe was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Chelmsford.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Grita and John Olmstead of Belmont, N.H., formerly of Chelmsford; two granddaughters and their husbands, Christine and John Balzotti of Chelmsford, and Stephanie and John Scolastico of Tyngsboro.
She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Stacy, John and Ashley.

Irmgard had such a wonderful sense of humor. It was a pleasure meeting her at Palm Manor when she shared a room with my mom. May she rest in peace.
