James White Obituary
James J. White drew his last breath by his sisters' side, September 14, 2022, at the Sturgill Hospice House in Spring Hill, Florida. The son of Lorraine (Gauthier) White and James J. White, he was born and raised in Lowell, MA. After attending Lowell High School, he joined the army and served his tour of duty in Germany. He spent the last 30 years of his life in Florida where he married and raised four children. Jim loved to hunt, fish, and participate in civil war reenactments as a Union soldier. He was an animal lover who always kept a rout of dogs and cats in his home which was the hangout place for his children and their friends. For several of his children's friends he was their surrogate father. He was a generous man with a snarky sense of humor, loyal to his friends and devoted to his family.
Predeceased by his parents, stepfather George Provencher, sister Pauline White, brother-in-law Thomas Carr, niece Jamie Carr and great-nephews Douglas Hanson and Stephen Frost. Survived by his wife Stephanie Nichols, their children Jessica Nichols, Timary (Joseph) Smither, Aaron (Tiffany) Nichols and Jayden White; grandchildren Joseph, Jase, Jaxson and Thena Smither, Mariah and Sarah Vanatta, and James Nichols; sisters Kathleen (Jerry) Nobles, Judith Carr, Margaret Raymond, and Marylou White, and seventeen nieces and nephews. His memory will be loved and cherished by all.
Memorial services will be held October 22,2022 in Spring Hill, Florida, and June 2, 2023, in Lowell, Ma.

So sorry to hear of the passing of your Husband Father, Brother Uncle and friend James White. I had the pleasure of speaking to him several time after the death of his oldest sister Pauline my friend who also passed away in Connecticut. In those conversations he thank me for being there for his sister and I know how much she Loved him . So sorry for your loss sending Prayers of comfort
