DRACUT - Jill M. (Nyberg) Proulx, age 60, a resident of Dracut died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at her home.

She was born in Lowell on October 25, 1957, and was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Quigley) Nyberg. She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1975.

Jill was employed for many years as a unit coordinator at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center.

She was known to be an extremely giving person. Her kind heart exemplified her core values and she never missed an opportunity to make someone feel special. Her greatest joy in life was spending time in the company of her loving family, especially her adoring grandchildren. Her role as Grammie meant the world to her. She lit up every time she was around her grandchildren and she was so proud of her three sons.

Jill is survived by her three sons, Craig Proulx and his wife Courtney of Hudson, NH, Shawn Proulx and his wife Kendra of Pepperell, and Jeremy Proulx of Dracut; five grandchildren, Cannon Proulx, Sofie Proulx, Sage Proulx, Sky Proulx, and her soon to be born grandson; her brother, James Nyberg and his wife Carol of Hudson, NH; her sister, Cathy Nyberg of Hudson, NH; her nephew, Kevin Nyberg and his wife Alexandra of Pelham, NH; and her niece, Kim Normand and her husband Jay of Hudson, NH; and her former spouse, Kenneth Proulx.

PROULX - Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jill's Life Celebration at the MCKENNA-OUELLETTE FUNERAL HOME, 327 Hildreth Street, Lowell on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Micheal Church in Lowell. Burial will be private.
