My deepest condolences to Jack´s family. I only found out about Jack´s passing too late to attend the services, but he was a key reason I won photojournalism awards as a Lowell Sun photographer many years ago, and I will always be grateful for my time working with him.

My sincere condolences,to the family and friends of Jack.

I just now surprisingly found out about Jack´s passing.

I certainly would have been honored to attend his celebration of life.
I can only imagine the chatter of memories, shared.

I met Jack just 8 years ago.
Jack was intelligent, spiritual and at times hysterical. He was wise with thoughtful advice, when sought. Jack´s love of music was eclectic to say the least. His spunk made for great singalongs.

Jack was proud of all of his adventures, accomplishments, and his family. I will miss Jack and our chats.

I wish I had the opportunity to see you one last time,my dear friend. I would have been happy to hold your hand as you wondered who I was.

You´ll have a place in my heart forever. I´ll think of you often.
Rest in peace my dear friend.

To the family and friends of Jack, I pray that the memories of him remain close to your hearts and be with you forever. God Bless you.

Peace and Love

Jack,
Just want to let you know - you didn´t get away with it.
The swashbuckling, bon vivant, raconteur, Errol Flynn persona couldn´t hide the thoughtful, considerate, generous and vulnerable Jack Costello.
Of your many insights, my favorite...
"You know, you can say a lot with words."
Peace!
Marty

My sadness is eased by happy memories of great times with a good boss. We worked hard and played harder. Brenda, may you, your kids, and Jack's siblings be comforted by his commitment to you, to the Sun and his beloved City of Lowell.
