John J. Kizik

John J. Kizik avid sports fan, enjoyed fishing; 73 Pelham, NH John J. Kizik, 73, of Pelham, but formerly of Billerica and Cambridge, died Sunday evening at Tufts New England Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Sonja K. (Wallin) Kizik with whom he recently celebrated his 40th wedding Anniversary on July 24, 2008. Born in Somerville, November 5, 1935, the son of the late Julius and the late Vera Kizik, he graduated from Cambridge Rindge Techical High School in 1954. Before retirement, he worked as an auto mechanic for State Auto Parts in Everett and the Malden Brake Company in Malden for many years. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Patriots and going fishing with family and friends. Besides his wife, Mr. Kizik is survived by a sister Irene Melick of Baltimore, MD; three sister-in-laws Rita Signoretti and her husband Joseph of Billerica, Sandra Crawford and her husband James of Pelham and Beverly Bevens and her husband Michael of Pelham; a brother-in-law Bert Wallin and his wife Patricia of Billerica; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was also the brother of the late Helen Gallagher, the late Luba Tolstuk, the late Basil Kizik. KIZIK Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 3 to 7pm Wednesday.
