Karl Sponholtz Obituary

Karl A. Sponholtz III of Winterpark, Florida; 50 WINTERPARK, Florida Karl A. Sponholtz III, passed away on April 26, 2009, at the Vitas Hospice Care Facility, after a lifelong illness. He was the husband of Irene (Champagne) Sponholtz. He was born in Lowell, on April 8, 1959, he was the son of Karl A. Sponholtz II of Westford and the late Beatrice (Rocheleau) (Sponholtz) Pollard. Besides his wife and father, he is survived by his stepmother, June (Sullivan) Sponholtz of Westford; and his stepfather, Robert Pollard of Tyngsboro; Two daughters, Heather Sponholtz and Alicia Sponholtz, their mother (his former wife), Pamella Lowden, three granddaughters, Katesha Montalvan, Kylie Alicea, and Liliana Santiago, all of Lowell; two brothers, Ernest Pollard and his wife, Angela, and Wallace Pollard, all from Tyngsboro; and one sister, Hollyann (Pollard) Crawford and her husband, Kenneth of Lowell. He was also the brother of the late Darlene (Sponholtz) Ciardi and her surviving husband, Peter Ciardi; also a brother to the late Angel Pollard. He was the father of the late Kathy Sponholtz, and a grandfather to the late Kathyleeza Santiago. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. SPONHOLTZ At his request, calling hours have been omitted and cremation will take place.
