Lawrence Boyington Obituary
Lawrence "Larry" Boyington, 80, of Hudson, NH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at his residence following period of failing health.
He was born August 19, 1941 in Brighton, MA, son of the late Edward and Jeanne (Simons) Boyington. He was also predeceased by a brother, Edward Boyington.
Larry was the beloved husband of Elizabeth "Betty" (Millar) Boyington of Hudson with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. He was an Air Force Veteran during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in England. Larry was employed for several years as an electronics technician. In his earlier years he was an avid fisherman and loved watching NASCAR. He enjoyed socializing with his friends at the community club house, which lead to many poker games as well as Mexican Train Dominos. Larry enjoyed wintering in Florida for many years. Besides his loving wife, Betty, his family includes a daughter, Kimberly Higgins and her husband Darrell of Sebastian, FL. Larry is also survived by a sister Helene Sargent of Sebastian, FL, as well as two nieces, Lisa Sargent of Sebastian, FL and Debbie Akers of Trinity, FL. Also a sister in law, Lois Boyington of Rockland, MA. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday March 29th from 4pm-7pm in the Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St. in Hudson, NH. A Graveside Service will be held in Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst St., in Nashua, NH on Thursday March 31st at 11:30am. All may meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations be made in Larry's loving memory to Home Health & Hospice Care, 7 Executive Dr., Merrimack, NH 03054.
