Anyone who had the privelage of knowing Lillian Knowles is truly blessed. My family and I lived next door to Lillian and Ray for 5 wonderful years, we have so many fond memories of that time in our life thanks to both of them. I will never forget the long talks, laughs and good advice, the chocolate chip cookies on halloween ( we would always dip into the cookies couldnt wait until we got home), my daughter loved watching all the birds at the bird feeders, the fresh vegetables they grew every year and shared with all the neighbors, christmas cards, I could go on and on ! My only regret is that life got so busy and I didnt visit on a regular basis.

I am so lucky to have had Lil as a friend and neighbor. She was like a grandmother to me and always made me feel like a special person. The real special person was Lil, one of the most hard-working and compassionate people I have ever known. She showed all who knew her how to live.

To the family,

I am so sorry for this great loss. I loved Lil as a grandmother as she always was one to my family and I. I am sure she is in a better place now alongside my grandpa Ray. I will miss her dearly.
