Long-time Wilmington Resident
Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother
WILMINGTON Mrs. Lorraine J. (Snow) Pellerin, age 73, a long-time Wilmington resident, died Monday, November 2, 2009, at the Winchester Hospital, surrounded by family.
Lorraine was born on September 25, 1936, in Somerville MA. She was the dear daughter of the late Homer F. and Beatrice M. (Benoit) Snow. Lorraine enjoyed growing up in Arlington MA and she was a graduate of Arlington High School Class of 1954.
Lorraine married Roland "Jack" Pellerin on July 1, 1956, at St. Joseph's Church in Woburn and they moved to Wilmington.
Prior to retiring, Lorraine was a bookkeeper for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, knitting, watching movies, and she was a computer enthusiast who loved keeping in touch with family and friends. Lorraine looked forward to the many lunches that she shared with countless family members and dear friends.
Lorraine was very fortunate to have a close knit family who were very devoted to each other, she cherished the time that she spent with her children and grandchilldren and they rallied around her through her illness.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Roland "Jack" Pellerin, devoted mother of John Pellerin, Steven Pellerin and his wife Sharon, Lisa Pijoan and her husband Timothy and Nancy Pellerin all of Wilmington, loving grandmother of Steven and Shayne Pellerin and Matthew and Melissa Pijoan all of Wilmington, cherished sister of Eileen Snow of Charlotte NC, Frank Snow of Lady Lakes FL, Thomas Snow of St. Augustine FL, and the late Judith Hawkins of North Andover, Lorraine is also survived by an aunt, several cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Friday, November 6th at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Thomas Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 10:00 A.M. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Visiting hours Thursday, November 5th from 4-8 P.M. Memorial donations in Lorraine's name may be made to American Lung Association of Massachusetts, National Processing Center, P. O. Box 7000, Albert Lea, MN 56007-8000. www.nicholsfuneralhome.com
