NORTH ANDOVER Mary L. (Mitsakos) Jesser, 81, of North Andover, Mass., formerly of Methuen, died
Sunday morning, Sept. 23, at Wingate at Andover.
She was the wife of the late Wallace Jesser, who died April 16, 2003.
She was born in Lowell, Aug. 20, 1926, the daughter of the late Leonidas and the late Vasiliki (Sampatakakis) Mitsakos. She
attended Lowell schools, and was a graduate of Lowell High School. She went on to attend Lowell Commercial College.
Before retiring, she was a Sales
Associate at Jordan Marsh in
Methuen. Previously, she began her career as an
administrative assistant at the former Vanetta Corduroy in Lowell.
Among her many interests, she enjoyed playing golf and tennis, as well as travelling and gardening.
Mrs. Jesser is survived by four daughters, Regina Jesser and her husband, John Weaver of North
Andover, Andrea Strobel and her husband, Michael of Tewksbury, Susan Wormald of Lancaster, and Dianne Moore and her husband, James of Methuen; five
grandchildren, Samuel Weaver, Mikaela Strobel, Rose Strobel, James Moore and Matthew Moore; two
brothers, Dr. Charles L. Mitsakos and his wife, Stella of Chelmsford, and Peter Mitsakos and his wife, Tilda of Weston; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Anthony Mitsakos, and the late Stella Simopoulos.

Wednesday. Her funeral will take place from the
funeral home on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock
followed by a Funeral Service at the HELLENIC
