Muriel Topjian Obituary
Muriel E. (Polites) Topjian, 93, a longtime resident of Westford, and formerly of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 18, 2021 with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert L. Topjian.
Born in Dracut on September 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Costas and Maria (Marion) Polites.
Muriel enjoyed working as a bookkeeper for over 27 years alongside her husband in their family business, Topjian Plumbing and Heating. In addition, she held her Real Estate license and Esthetician license. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Catherine's Church in Westford. Most of all, Muriel loved spending time with her family and friends.
Muriel is lovingly survived by her four children; Robert Topjian, Jr. and his wife Christine of Westford, Larry Topjian and his wife Michelle of Pepperell, Cathy Traywick and her husband Russ of Westford, and Stacy Searle and her husband Greg of Nashua, NH. She also leaves 11 cherished grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and her sister, Theresa Paquin of Dracut. Muriel is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Sadly, in addition to her husband, Muriel was predeceased by her son Bruce R. Topjian in 2015, and her brother George Polites and her sister Yvonne White.
Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD.
