Miss You Daddy

November 28, 2007

"Rocky"
In three of your races you you out ran the field.
Showing that you had some heart.
At such long odds your team just smiled.
They knew you were good from the start.

After the race your training then changed,
It got tougher each and every day, The wanted you fit and ready to take on your challenge.

Everything was going so well because you had a plan.
When suddenly your luck changed.

The picture of health was not to be.
The next day barely able to stand your health deterroating and it did not look good as you said, as your love ones tried to understand.

The tensions of the race were running high, But all that forgotten because you were the focus,
When your team came to say good bye.

They came with tears in their eyes to give you a kiss and call you Rocky one last time.

All hearts broke when it came time for your last breath.

A Man with a Theory...Who would never get the chance to put it to the test.
