To the family of Rich, who was recently my brother Jim's confidant, support system, and probably the best friend he has ever had: we are truly sorry for your loss. Our family mourns for you in this time of sorrow. He was truly a special person and will be greatly missed.

I didn't know Rich well, but I do remember his wide sunny smile. I remember Rich from the long bus ride to BHS from the east side. The Class of 76 has lost another Eastie classmate. We will all miss your sunny smile.
