Robert Ducharme Obituary
lifelong resident of Lowell; 70
LOWELL -- Mr. Robert Ducharme, age 70, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died January 11, 2011, following a long illness.
He was the beloved husband of Helen (Lamothe) Ducharme, with whom he celebrated 54 years of marriage on January 5th.
He was born in Lowell on May 12, 1940, son of the late Paul and Yvonne (Gagnon) Ducharme.
Prior to his retirement due to health reasons, Bob worked in maintenance at the Lowell District Courthouse for 10 years.
He and his wife were communicants of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.
Bob was also a car enthusiast, and enjoyed working on cars.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, David & Jennifer Ducharme of Tyngsboro, Donald & JoAnn Ducharme, and Dennis Ducharme, all of Lowell; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
DUCHARME -- At his request, cremation took place Friday. Relatives & Friends are invited to attend his memorial visitation and service on Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the M.R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell. A prayer service will take place at 2:00 PM. Interment will be private.
