He was born in Lowell, March 5, 1985, son of Lori Kearin (Wetmore) of Lowell, and Ronald L. and his wife, Paula (Gallagher) Wetmore of Chelmsford. He was educated in the Chelmsford Public Schools, and graduated from Chelmsford High School in 2003, where he played varsity football and was a member of the CHS track team. He was a senior at UMASS Lowell pursuing a degree in finance and management at the time of his death.
Ronnie worked through high school and college at Kate's Corner convenience store in Chelmsford as an assistant manager, and additionally he worked summers as a laborer for WDC Development Co. He had recently completed an internship at Putnam Investments, and was the leading candidate for an upcoming internship at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Wakefield.
He loved sports, having played in Chelmsford Pop Warner football for seven years before joining the CHS team, and Chelmsford Little League baseball for nine years. He also played basketball for CYBL for several years, and was a member of the CHS track team. He enjoyed all winter sports, especially snowboarding and hockey, and also enjoyed playing golf with his father and grandfather.
He had a passion for music and was learning to play guitar.
Besides his parents and stepmother, he is survived by five siblings, Daniel, Jacob, and Bridget Wetmore, all of Chelmsford, and CJ Wooster and David McKay, both of Lowell; his grandparents, Ronald W. and Patricia A. Wetmore of Chelmsford, Edith Kearin of Lowell, and Florence Gallagher of Lowell.
He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, great-aunts, and great-uncles; as well as several cousins who were like siblings to him.
He also leaves numerous dear friends.
He was also the grandson of the late Frederic P. Gallagher of Lowell, the great-grandson of the late Ivy and Les Wetmore of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and the great-grandson of the late Mary Keohane of Chelmsford.

To the Whole Wetmore Family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. Ronnie was a tremendous young man who touched many lifes.
Ronnie played football for my dad in Chelmsford, and he was one of the kids him and I both remember the most. He was a pleasure to be around. I remember spending almost all day on Sunday's with Ronnie. Those memories will forever be treasured by myself and my dad.
Ronnie will forever be remembered.
