I am so sorry to hear of the passing of my dear friend, Mrs. Ashley. Growing up in Westford, I have many fond memories of her...her music, her tennis, and just being a friend to a little kid. I will miss her so much.

Dear Mr. Ashley & Family,

I was so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. I am a former student of hers going way back to her Easton days. She was the first person who sparked my interest and love of music in elementary school. Then, to my surprise, she was teaching at Lowell State when I started there in 1973. I have many fond memories of her and will always be grateful to her for teaching me the joys of music.

With my deepest sympathy,

Mary Beth Coleman
