Shirley Tobey Obituary

Shirley L. Tobey former Dunstable Postmaster DUNSTABLE Mrs. Shirley L. Tobey, of Dunstable, MA, died Thursday morning, July 10, 2008, at her home with her loving husband, Russell "Pete" Tobey by her side with whom she was married to for 56 years. Born in Medford, MA, on June 16, 1930, the daughter of the late Thomas and Julia (Anthony) Lacey. She was a graduate of Medford High School with the class of 1948. Shirley graduated Suma Cum Laude from Boston University with a Bachelor in Science in Business. She was the former Dunstable Postmaster, and retired from Sanders Lockheed. Shirley loved to travel, and her passions were gardening, sewing, and cooking. Besides her husband, she is survived by many loving family members and friends. TOBEY Mrs. Shirley L. Tobey, of Dunstable, MA, died July 10, 2008. Visiting hour Sat. 10 to 11 A.M. followed by her funeral at 11 A.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD. Burial in Central Cemetery, Dunstable. Memorials may be made in her name to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, 181 Cedar Hill Rd., Marlboro, MA 01752. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.
