Sophie H. "Sally" Matyczynski

Sophie H. 'Sally' Matyczynski of Dracut, Wang Labs retiree; 86 DRACUT Sophie H. "Sally" (Kulikowski) Matyczynski, 86, a longtime resident of Dracut, died peacefully Monday, October 27th, at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Facility in Haverhill. She was the wife of the late Theodore J. Matyczynski. She was born in Lowell on May 14, 1922, and she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Petrunela (Tarasewich) Kulikowski. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Matyczynski was employed by the former Wang Labs in Lowell. Earlier in her life, she was employed by Lowell Shoe Company, and then by Raytheon Corp. She enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Judith Matyczynski of Nashua, NH; a daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Normand Desmarais of Pelham, NH; four grandchildren, Robert Matyczynski Jr., Michael Matyczynski, Ryan Desmarais, and Amanda Grant; five great-grandchildren, Anthony, and Riley Matyczynski, Hannah and Timothy Desmarais, and Olivia Grant; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Vincent Kulikowski, Louis Kulikowski, Anna Paliulis, Antoinette Regan, and Faye DeProfio. MATYCZYNSKI Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Sunday from 2 until 5 P.M. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday at 8 A.M. followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Church on 216 E. Dunstable Rd., in Nashua, NH.
