Suzanne Marie Poisson
of Hudson, NH; age 61

HUDSON, NH -- Mrs. Suzanne Marie (St. Gelais) Poisson of Hudson, NH loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother died peacefully on April 21, 2013 at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, after a courageous two year battle with cancer.

Suzanne was the beloved wife of Paul J. Poisson whom she married in February of 1976.

Born in Lowell, MA on November 2, 1951, she was the daughter of Theresa Y. (Bellefeuille) St. Gelais of Pelham, NH and the late Joseph "Andy" St. Gelais.

She was educated at Ste. Jeanne D'Arc School in Lowell, MA and was a graduate of Dracut High School.

Prior to her illness, she had been employed by Cerida in Methuen, MA as a Client Service Manager.

Surviving her in addition to her husband and mother, are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jason P. Poisson and his wife Brittany of Manchester, NH and Michael A. Poisson also of Manchester, NH; her granddaughter, Abigail; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Kenneth Roche of Pelham, NH; a brother, Robert A. St. Gelais of Lowell; a niece, Janie Roche of Hudson, NH; a nephew, Andrew St. Gelais of Pelham, NH; sisters-in-law, Pauline Russo of Lakeland, FL and Joanne Grenier of Dracut, MA; a sister and brother-in-law, Louis and Claire Poisson of Manchester MA; also several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

POISSON -- Mrs. Suzanne M. (St. Gelais) Poisson, age 61, a resident of Hudson, NH and the beloved wife of Paul J. Poisson. Relatives and friends may call at the ROLAND W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 308 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Thursday morning with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 10 o'clock at St. Kathryn Parish, 4 Dracut Rd., Hudson, where everyone is asked to meet. Committal services will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Cancer Research, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284. Just heard the sad news of Sue's passing.
My heart aches at your loss. She was a good wife, mother and daughter she will be forever missed. I always enjoyed her company, we shared alot of laughs over our boys.
