Alan Krueger Obituary

Alan F. Krueger, 79, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024.

He was born March 22, 1945, in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late LeRoy and May (Jenkins) Krueger.

Private services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, Indiana, is handling arrangements

Surviving are a daughter, Claire Krueger of Evanston, Illinois; son, Patrick of Michigan City, Indiana; two grandsons, Terrence Smith and Jalen Smith; and his sister, JoAnn Swain of South Bend, Indiana. Also, special friends Terry Spang, Robert Winski and Tom Janicki; and former wife and close friend, Caroline G. Krueger.

The family would also like to express their sincere appreciation for the selfless dedication and care provided by Krystal and Bob Chambers.

He was a retired machine designer, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He enjoyed working on cars and spending time with friends.

Contributions may be made to the Michiana Humane Society, 722 Indiana Highway 212, Michigan City, Indiana.
