She was born June 6, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to Gertrude Ivanic Stalls.
Carol worked many years in the healthcare field. She started her love of helping the elderly by working for Franciscan Hospice as a volunteer coordinator and also in the medical records department. Carol also worked for many years in private hospice care. Her family gave her the nickname "the old people whisperer."
She loved trying new things, last year she ziplined in Kentucky and went on a canoe trip. Carol went sledding on winter vacation this last year. Another nickname that her family and friends had given her was "Hard-core Carol." They gave her that nickname because she rides front seat on The Raging Bull at Great America. Some of her hobbies include going to festivals, musicals and bowling. Carol belonged to a bunco group with all of her favorite people that she loved very much. She was an amazing mother and a doting grandma. Carol was very loved by many and will be greatly missed.
